| In addition to a few of the most popular herbs; we are
offering plant combinations this year that is meant to take some of the
guess work out of planting a mixed and colorful garden. The plants are
all chosen for their bloom time, soil and light requirements and
tolerance to the Mid West and Ohio Gardens. These combinations will be
sold in groups only and are sure to be available on a limited basis.

Lillies - Centerfold, and Landini (respectively), Hybrid Lilly

You can see how any three of these plants or any three of six different
or three of all nine choices will give you a variety of bloom, texture
and color in the garden all season long. The only thing we have added to
give some substance and bones to the garden is the newer cultivar of
Hydrangea "Limelight". It's the icing on the cake for this
garden.
Some traditional plants that you might already have in your garden that
could be moved or divided and added to this planting is Lady's Mantle,
some of the lime colored sedums, or Ajuga-Chocolate Chip. Annuals
that would add punch: maroon nasturiums, dark and lime green coleus and
dark petunias. Perfect herbs are: Angelica , Lemon Balm ( light green
foliage) Pineapple Mint, Sage -Icterina ( hard to find) Thyme-Citriodorus
(Lemon), Cuban Oregano, Annual Scented Geranium -Prince Rupert. |
