Historic National Road Yard Sale

824 Miles of  'Trash to Treasure'; you'll find everything from antiques, collectibles, furniture, glassware, fresh garden produce, clothing and much more!

Anyone that wants a free space along our section of the road is welcome to join us; as the saying goes the more the merrier!

Herb N Ewe is open all five days of the sale but individual and community sales vary on dates and times. Here is our take on last years event;

What a fun time and project! The original stretch of the road that runs in  front of Herb N Ewe is something we've always been passionate about, partly because we are the personal stewards of our part of the road; which  includes our patch paving attempts and maintenance. We now consider the Historic National Road Yard Sale Days a fund raising project that turns our so called  "trash to treasure" sales into money allocated for paving restoration.  Many  travelers also discovered Herb N Ewe for the first time; embracing the spirit of National Road History, here you can feel the progression of what was once an Indian foot path that became the principal route for generations of travelers on foot, horseback and Conestoga wagons. Our 'Yard Sale Grub Lunches' helped support a couple new patches in the road; plus just like in days gone by; feed a hungry weary 'yard sale' traveler on the road. We welcome more and new travelers on our "piece of the road' in 2008!
