Apprenticeship & Internship Programs

What we have to offer:

Herb N Ewe has a program for students and adults who have always wanted to learn more about herbs, business and gardening.  We can provide educational opportunities in more then just herbs, gardening and decorative use. We also provide basic educational skills in the Culinary Arts.  Ever wonder if you were meant to own a restaurant?  This is the perfect opportunity to discover if it's the life for you.  Not only will you learn food preparation, storage and presentation but also the financial aspect of running a profitable restaurant. All aspects of the food and hospitality industry are a major part of the operations at Herb N Ewe. We host a small lunch program daily, various size groups from 12 to 75 guests to full service weddings. Tea parties are also a common place menu at the herb farm with a variety of sweet to savory foods enhanced by exotic teas such as white peony tea and a vanilla cream.

Ever had a great idea for a product and always wanted to know how to mass manufacture and then market a product? Herb N Ewe produces and manufactures a line of copper garden markers for the green goods industry to retail in garden centers garden shops and for catalog sales. We'll give you insight on how to produce and promote your product.

Customer relations are an important aspect at the Herb Farm and with the variety of services that Herb N Ewe provides; your sure to experience a lot of situations that will build your confidence and ability enough to become an expert in customer relationship skills.

The apprentice program structure is based on the seasons:  We except up to five participants each quarter beginning with the summer season starting June 1; lasting three months in time.  Participants can reapply for an additional quarter.  Applications are available here on line or by contacting us at the Herb Farm at (740) 323-2264.
